LAN at my place on July 26th now August 2nd, starting around noon.  $10 gets you gaming and food as always, make sure to RSVP below if you’re coming.  Being the first lan at the new house, this is also going to turn out to be a ‘Help Jim find out what outlets are on which circuits’ adventure, I’m sure.

I’m planning on burgers & brats, so if you want something else, post it in the comments.

A note on parking - My driveway can only hold about 5 cars, so anything beyond that, you will have to park on the street.  Parking is only on the west side of the street, just don’t block any driveways.

When:  1st weekend in January (for the calendar impaired, thats Jan 5th)
$10 dollars a head will get you dinner and  ‘Premium Hosted Fragfest Fun’, as well as full download access from the private archives.  Bring your own beverages, though some will be provided. The $10 is mandatory please, no moochers (you know who you are <ominous growl>)

Fot anyone who has not done this in a while: I provide tables and chairs, you bring the longest Cat5 cable you can, a power strip, and your PC.  No 21″ CRT’s please, bring an LCD if you have it.  Saves my tables that way =) Bring your rig ready to game with drivers and updates complete, and if you bring a virus there is a $25 dollar penalty. If we have to hose you off, there will be a $50 dollar penalty.

This LAN will be celebrating my 3rd (and final) child on the way as well, yahoo!

The game for this weekend’s lan has been annouced - Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.  Start practicing now.

Gameplay will be in randomly chosen teams of 2.  Depending on how many people would like to play, we may have to have 2 games running concurrently.  This will be a double elimination tournament.

This will be the first time the tournament game is not an FPS.  Sorry, but UT2004 is just getting old.

Alright, people have been asking me when the next lan is. We are tenatively going to shoot for mid to late March. No exact date has been set yet. The party is set for March 24th, show up between noon and 2ish.  This will be at Chris’s house as usual.

Because of the timing of this, you can substitute a baby toy for the normal $5 lan fee (Chris & Amanda should have #2 by then). You’ll still need to bring cash to chip in for food if you want any.

All your SmashTech accounts are active. Login and post any dates that would work out best for you. If you forgot your password, and used a fake email address, well, you’re a tard and will need to ICQ me to have it reset.

Please confirm whether or not you will be attending!!

Well, the lan came and went without any issues related to gaming, other than Chris tripping over a power strip. Gaming started around noon and went until midnight, when the game changed from UT2k4 and Worms to Poker and Blackjack. Card games ended around 3:30AM.

Attendees included: Myself (NinjaPablo), Chris (Justice), Amanda (Serenity), Steve (Xetal), Fran, Bryan (Farnite), Brandon (Byohzzrd), Jill, Murry (Koskun), Patrick (Sardonyx), Jeremy (Korbis), and Aron. There was no tournament.

Alas, I have been bested once again in combat by Steve, whose skills with the flak cannon are indeed admirable. Steve won the UT2K4 tournament and got the prize of a dead laptop and a hammer.
